Our first graders are loving our Continents PBL. So far we have traveled throughout North America and Europe. We have talked about famous landmarks in these countries like: Banff National Park, Stonehenge, the Eiffel Tower, Niagra Falls and many others. Students have studied the American artist, Jackson Pollack, and the French painter, Georges Seurat. We have also played games from each continent. Our first graders have been so inquisitive and intrigued with each continent. This week we will continue our journey through Europe and we will "fly" to Asia later in the week!

We enjoyed seeing all of the wonderful costumes our 1st graders wore. In each of our classrooms, we celebrated Halloween with spider cider and a pumpkin design challenge. It was a blast! Our team dressed up like story book characters from Mo Willem's books.
