Nicole Adel

The Bay Area has been my home all my life. Born and raised in the East Bay, I have an intense love for food and culture. I received my bachelor’s degree in Health Science: Health Services Administration San Jose State University. I worked in school health intervention long before I knew I wanted to teach. Shortly after graduating, I decided to return to San Jose State and earned my teaching credential. I’ve been teaching since 2012. I began my journey teaching single subjects at a K-8 private school in Richmond, CA. I then began teaching here in Santa Clara in 2014. I am ecstatic to be a part of Team Chameleon and look forward to this wonderful adventure. I enjoy eating, cooking, traveling, spending time with my family, and playing board games.

I am beyond excited to be a member of Team Chameleon! I am a Santa Clara native, and attended SCUSD schools from kindergarten through high school. I am an alumna of San Jose State University where I earned my B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development as well as my M.A. in Education. Previously I have taught fourth grade at Pomeroy Elementary. I am looking forward to an amazing year full of exploration, creativity, and of course, fun! I enjoy crafting, painting, swimming and hanging out with my two cats, Tinkerbell and Indie.
