I am a child of the West Coast. My father was in the Forest Service so we moved every couple of years. I spent a year in Sweden as an exchange student after high school graduation. I got my degree in Civil Engineering from Chico State and worked as a Civil Engineer for 12 years. When the housing market crashed I became a stay at home mom to my two boys. Once they became more independent I decided to go back to work and was convinced to try working with kids. I am so happy I became a Chameleon. I love traveling with my husband and 2 boys, riding my bike, hiking and landscape photography.

Hi all! I’m a Bay Area girl, born and raised. I went to George Mayne until 4th grade when my family moved us to Milpitas.

I was a classroom teacher for 13 years, teaching 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I decided it was time for a change, so I became a PE teacher. I have a BA in Psychology with a minor in Communications. I played soccer in college, both at West Valley and SJSU, (go Spartans), and I still play for fun.

My personal life is...busy...to say the least. My husband, Corey, and I have been married for six years and I am the mother to three amazing kids. A 16 year old, Jada, a five year old with severe special needs, Langston, and an energetic 10 month old, Zora. We also have a five month old puppy, Coco, who we are training to be a service dog for Langston.

I’m big into social justice, mental health, and growing as a person.

I love music, concerts, soccer, going for walks, the beach, and all things having to do with my children.

I’m so excited to be here.
