Organizations and Committees

Community Advisory Committee (CAC)

The Community Advisory Committee is a group of parents, educators and community members interested in helping children who have special education needs.

 

District Level English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC)

The DELAC, or subcommittee on English learner education, shall advise the district's local governing board (e.g., in person, by letters/reports, or through an administrator) on programs and services for English learners.

 

English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

The ELAC shall be responsible for advising the principal and staff on programs and services for

English learners and the School Site Council on the development of the Single Plan for Student

Achievement (SPSA).

 

Parent/Community Leadership Team (PCLT)

 

 

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

parent-teacher association (PTA) or parent-teacher-student association (PTSA) is a formal organization composed of parents, teachers and staff that is intended to facilitate parental participation in a school.

 

School Site Council (SSC)

The School Site Council is a group of parents, teachers, and staff members. It provides input into the School Site Plan and corresponding budget items.
