Central Park Elementary PTA Elections

Hello Chameleon Families!

The Central Park PTA will be holding elections this spring, for six open Board Officer positions. If you have wanted to get involved in the running our our school PTA, we encourage you to consider running for a Board position.  Serving on our PTA Board is a great way to engage in school activities and help build our community.  Our PTA will be entering its 3rd year and we continue to build and expand our activities based on the energy and support of our involved PTA membership at the school.

A nominating committee was elected at the last PTA meeting on January 16th. They are currently working to put together a list of candidates for each position that are interested in serving our school. We encourage any interested individual to run.  You don't have to have any prior experience to serve on the PTA Board--- a willingness to learn and a dedication to supporting our students and teachers is all we ask!

To submit your interest in any of the positions, please submit a short candidate statement and a photo of yourself to any of the nominating committee members listed below OR directly to centralparkpta2016@gmail.com by TUESDAY, February 13th at 5:00pm.

Per our By-Laws, elections will be held in March for:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Financial Secretary
  • Auditor
